This is the general weather outlook for the winter season. Monthly forecasts posted will bring more specific details, however the monthly weather will have the basic pattern forecast here.
Upstate NY & East coast After a lovely, calm, warm fall, it looks like a rougher winter. Pluto forebodes extreme and destructive weather with a cross placement from each of the 4 elements. The good news is this in not the worst planetary pattern placements we have seen this year; that was the Summer Solstice chart. So the winter should not be as damaging as it could be. Still we want to be alert; especially places with Pluto and Saturn running near where you live.
We can expect extreme, sometimes damaging cold and long-lasting storms, mixed with some moderate temperatures, thawing and pleasant days from Jupiter and Sun influences.
Uranus and Pluto run through eastern ME, suggesting unpredictable weather and warmer weather.
Mars can bring warmth from western MI arching through the ID/OH border area, down through eastern KY and TN, and then down through central GA and western FL
Mercury brings cooler to colder weather and wind from MN down through the AR/AL border area.
Neptune brings water from central MT, WY, CO, and AZ
And Moon brings water from eastern MT/Wy down through central CO and AZ.
 International Cautionary locations:
Pluto runs through eastern Africa (Ethiopia, Zaire, Angola, South Africa)
Neptune runs through western China, Mongolia, and mid Russian Federation. Neptune also runs through Mexico.
Uranus runs through eastern China, Mongolia and centra/eastern Russian Federation. It also runs the length of the center of South America.
Weather can happen anywhere on the planet, though these are the most likely places this week. Best to be prepared at home, and on the local government level.

Winter Solstice
This is the general weather
NY/East coast Well we had a great fall, indian summer, mostly sunny, warm & mild, till now, and we have 3 more weeks before the Winter Solstice The first week of Dec continues in the same more pleasant theme of the Fall Equinox forecast. Expect cool to cold, yet fair and dry days, with breezes to wind. We can even experience some warmer pleasant weather too.
That said, we again have Uranus in the 1st house like we did a few weeks ago when we had that surprise drop in temperature and a destructive snowstorm in PA, NJ & CT. Not the storm began in College Park PA, within 100 miles from the Uranus line. This week Uranus is running through the middle of New Hampshire (11 miles east of Berlin NJ/13 miles west of Manchester, and vertically down through Worchester MA and 5 miles east of Westerly RI. (13 miles east of St Johnsbury VT). My guess is follow the jet stream from those areas and that would likely be the places most effected by Uranus weather this week.
So this is also a week of surprises and shocks — please be prepared with batteries, flashlights, food and power backup.
Moving West, the weather looks calmer until we reach Mercury Line running from MN down to New Orleans, where they can expect colder windy weather.
Warmer in the mid country with the sun line from ND down through the AR/AL/TX borders
A little west of there mars can trigger some warmer, windier weather too.

Oct 12th – 19th Otsego County/Northeast Region Full Moon week theme seems to be dry—from breezy to blustery; and from cool to cold (the coldest week overall of Oct)—thought there may also be a few warm, calm pleasant days. While mostly dry, there is a small chance of a low pressure storm, or some ups and downs in the weather temperatures. Possible weather dates 4, 12 (moon furthest away from the earth, 17 (moon at its northern most position). These can cause weather a few days on either side of the event.

The hot/cold front will also likely create some storms that may last longer than usual. There may be a warm pleasant day that grabs our attention. Possible weather date: 23 (moon crossing the celestial equator going south) — this can occur a few days on either side of the event. Oct 26th – Nov 1st  Otsego County/Northeast Region This New Moon week is an unpredictable week for two reasons. First Uranus-planet of surprises is in play and can turn what appears to be a week of Indian summer into a sudden drop in temperature (or rise to an unseasonably hot day). Also, this new moon is the closest to the earth and can cause weather a few days before and after the 26th. Finally on the 29th the moon will be at its southern most declination position and so there can be weather a few days before/after these two dates. The majority of indicators suggest warm, pleasant weather, with some weather — though it doesn’t seem it will last long, and Indian summer can be return quickly.
New Moon (on the afternoon of the last day of last week) is closest to earth (perigee) usually brings some weather events around the globe—its influence can appear several days before or after the actual new moon. Upstate NY and New England area seems to be clear of potentially harmful effects. Elsewhere in the USA, Uranus over Miami & due north to western PA and up into Canada (pink dotted line) can possibly bring unexpected shocks, cold/dry high pressure systems, storms & record breaking weather.  Dry Mercury & moist Venus arching over the midwest through southwest; & in MB Canada may cause some turbulence, wind, or humidity. The west coast has no weather events, though in BC Canada the Sun, Moon & Jupiter likely will give some pleasant weather. Mexico, our other North American neighbor likely has a clear week ahead. Again, send blessings to balance the earth & the people to reduce or even avert an event…blessings & prayers really work folks…I see it happening first hand many times. (Not 100% the time—we are only co-creators, not the sole controllers of the creation). Possible weather dates: 26, 27 29
Happy Halloween!
World Map included for international friends. With the New Moon closest to earth (perigee) on the 26th, it usually brings more severe to dangerous weather events in various areas around the globe. Check the map below—if you see a line relatively near where you live, it is wise to be prepared with backup plans (ie, batteries, fresh water, food, blankets; evacuation plan). It is always better to be safe than sorry—be prepared is the Boy Scout motto. It may not happen. And if you and your family & friends send blessings to balance out the earth & the peoples’ elements, it may reduce or prevent weather events. But governments, utility companies, rescue organizations, etc. are well advised to have sufficient supplies, trucks gassed up, etc. so as not to be caught off guard. Each planet indicates different weather – uranus—shocks & surprises (eg, sudden weather, seismic activities, volcanoes); neptune—water-floods. Pluto just makes the weather extreme. Saturn also makes things worse and last longer. Mars triggers events, and would also tend more to political unrest. When two or more planets are in the same area, their combined influence makes weather possibly worse. More likely areas to be effected include Africa, up into  Greece and northwest to the Scandinavian countries; western China, Jakarta, Perth & western New Zealand; and the northern areas of South America.

Remainder of this week (Summer) Sept 23 – 26
There are two weather-triggering events on the 26th and 28th—and the weather can be noted 1-3 days earlier. [26th moon crosses the celestial equator going south declination - that often causes rain; 28th moon perigee]
- 23rd – 26th Possible rain. The 25th & 26th are most likely rain days because there are two other planetary events today; four if you count the 26th & 27th events.
Ecliptic Path
New Moon Sept 27th
This week is a big weather week friends… a cautionary week. A word to the wise – stock up on water, food, candles, batteries, etc. If you got flooding in your basement last month, consider moving your motors/electric closer to the ceiling and keep a sump pump around. Let’s hope nothing big happens here, but its best to be prepared, then send blessings for a safe week for all.
For the astrological minded, in addition to the new moon it is the same day of the moon perigee (moon closest to the earth). This combination of new moon and perigee usually produces extreme and dangerous weather in various places around the globe. Additionally the astrology chart for the new moon has a cross and t square (ie, events that bode caution and even danger).
Now if you know me I am not one to give out fear-based information. However I do believe in the old Boy Scout’s adage, ‘Be Prepared’. I also have seen blessings work and create miraculous healings in people within a week—so I will, and hope you too will be prepared and pray the weather is benign.
There are some long-time expert astrometeorologists who have collected data and have found consistent correlation with the new moon/perigee and the combination appearing with damaging weather conditions. Your minds are still fresh with the memory of the last perigee and new moon that occurred with Hurricane Irene just last month.
And one more thing the weather-planet watchers do not talk about, the very next day after the new moon is the 28th of October, the end of the Mayan calendar by many indigenous Mayans. To be clear, I have heard first hand from top Mayan elders in Guatemala, and a friend has also directly spoken with Mayan elders deep in the Mexican forests, confirming that the world is not going to end (that is non-Mayan interpretation of their calendar), in fact they say it is going to be a celebration. They did say there may be a few days or so of no sun, and astrologically, the 27-28th may bring enough weather to block out the sun for those days. Again, this is not an end-of-world discussion by any means—it is a -be prepared for the worst, and send blessings for the best weather.
Back to the new moon/perigee, one of the pre-eminent observers of planet-weather conditions is Richard Nolle who actually coined the phrase, ‘SuperMoon’ to describe the coinciding of the new moon with moon perigee. He advises to be prepared from Sept 24- Oct 3. Partly because weather can happen 1-3 days before an event, and secondly because there is another event on Oct 2nd — moon reaches maximum southern declination (I won’t explain this here) that also affects weather conditions. Richard’s monthly insights are extremely accurate and helpful in prevention http://www.astropro.com. [click the lower right arrow then 'Futures" then September 2011 forecast].
If I had to pick times I would say the biggest weather likely is triggered Sept 27th around 4-5am, 11am, or 5pm 28th around 12:30-1pm. The 28th also has the most weather activity of the week.
Results: 27th—it began to rain/pour at 5pm, just when I called it. Also there was a flood alert in the next county just 10 minutes from here. 28th a lite shower here and there when mars and moon (triggers) crossed over the area
There is other interesting phenomena happening too; the 4 angles are ruled by each of the four elements—which to my mind suggest an event that is balancing all the elements in our lives. There is also a cross and t-square, both always forebode troubled weather as well.
So the question is not, will weather events happen, but where—’will it happen near where we live?’ The general answer is that the Supermoon trigger global events, however, looking at the planets mapped onto the earth (astro-locality), we can see where planets will be influencing on the day of the new moon. If there are no planets within 150 miles of your area, it is less likely you will experience harmful weather—though still no harm to be prepared.
Normally, we look to the planets that can be affecting the weather for any given chart (eg, New Moon chart). This week’s map is easy to read because virtually all the planets are influencing the weather. So this means, wherever you see a line, within 150 miles or so from there, that planet will likely produce weather.
For example, the Pluto line runs through central Africa, up through the Russian Federation.
world weather map 27 Sep 2011 New Moon 11:09 UTÂ
Lets switch to a local view for an example reading. The below chart is of the area I live. There is a Moon line within 150 miles of the capital, Albany, the nearest city, Oneonta, and Binghamton, who is still clearing out downtown from the last tropical storm Lee a few weeks ago. We see the moon line running right through Binghamton. Moon is a planet that produces water, so of all the indications in the astrology chart for this day, it seems most likely water will be the issue 150 mile radius of Binghamton, which stretches from Buffalo to Albany (and into western New England states). And eastern PA, NJ, and NY city (east through Nassau county LI) is about 120 miles from this moon line as well.
New Moon Sep 27 2011 – upstate NY
In the below chart of the moment of the New Moon many indicators for this local area that portend a lot of water. The sun near venus, mercury, moon (see the left side numbered 12 & 1). Saturn’s position makes that water last a longer time. Pluto’s square aspect to the Sun, Moon, and Mercury at the first house makes the weather even more extreme. In the center circle you can see a cross and ‘t’ patterns – even if you don’t know astrology you can notice them. They provide further evidence for a serious water-related event…like flooding. With the moon in the above map, it further seems likely water will be the issue this week around here. Â .
New Moon Sept 27 2011 11:09 UT Upstate NY
Draw a line from Miami FL just east of  Charlotte NC and you see the Mercury wind influence from those north/south locations. I haven’t run an astrology chart for those cities to confirm, but some wind event is more likely to happen there. Note the yellow moon/sun lines crossing horizontally through Mexico as well.
New Moon Sept 27, 2011 USA AstroWeather Map
Finally let’s look at our South American neighbors to see the weather influences there. On the extreme nw tip of Ecuador it there is possibility for strong winds and floods – I’m not familiar with normal weather conditions there yet, so if they get hurricanes etc. then this is a likely time for that to happen—or whatever strong wind events they get. Venezuela and the western area of Brazil, Bolivia, Peru, Argentina and Chile are more likely to experience a long lasting water event (eg. floods).
